I've been working to complete unfinished projects sitting in the studio. We all have them, right?
I bet you do too...

These canvases were started over a year ago, Artfest project not quite finished. My own photographs incorporated into a painting. Well now they are done.
It's such a nice feeling.
Now on to the three large canvases began in "Bloom True",
Flora Bowleys on line class; put on hold because of foot surgery.
It's going to be a very colorful day!
This may not look very dramatic but today is my first day in "real" pants! Enough bandage reduction so I can fit my foot through the leg of my favorite jeans! It's the little things in life, right? Tomorrow the stitches will be removed and I will perhaps move into another fancy shoe.

Keeping busy with my trusty journaling bag and hand and trying my best to be patient through this healing process...
Each day is a step ahead...and I will put my best foot forward.
Confinement continues, busy hands are making this much easier...I do not sit well, at all...

Another painting day with Flora Bowley
in her "Bloom True" on line class.
Three canvases in various stages of layering...I admit I am jumping ahead in the class. I had the pleasure of doing a workshop with Flora last fall so the process is fresh in my mind. I am really enjoying this class and working in my own studio provides so much more time to pause and reflect as well as an infinite supply of resources. And I have a deadline looming. Surgery this friday will keep me out of the studio for a few weeks....no standing for hours playing.
